The Altar of New Beginnings

One of the reasons I love the bible is it is full of normal people who find themselves in these new beginning moments, and we can read their stories and be encouraged by them. 

I don’t know if you are familiar with the stories in here, but we have moments like we spoke last week about when God shows up to Abraham and says leave everything and go to a land I will show you. 

It is the moment Ruth says I am sticking with you, and your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 

It is the moment David stands in the valley and says who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God. 

It is the moment that Mordechai says to Esther maybe you were born for such a time as this. 

It is the moment that Peter steps into the house of the Roman Centurion Cornelius, and his house experiences revival.

It is the moment of new beginnings.
