The Altar of Sovereignity

We continue our Altar series this weekend. Turn to I Kings 18. When you look at the altars in front of me, I think they generally invoke a good feeling in you. 

Maybe it invokes a feeling of reflection, spiritual consecration, or blessing. Today’s altar, which we are going to look at, is an altar where God did an amazing thing. 

This morning we will look at the context in which the altar was built.
